Peter Prevc Wins in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

The second event of the 64th Four Hills Tournament in Germany’s Garmisch-Partenkirchen ended in the best possible way for Slovenian ski jumper Peter Prevc on Friday.

His jumps of 133.5 and 136 metres, bringing 272.7 points earned him victory as well as the overall lead in the Four Hills Tournament.

Germany’s Severin Freund (133.5/132.5 m and 256.8 points), who was in the lead so far, is now 8.6 points behind Prevc.

At today’s event, Kenneth Gangnes of Norway was second, while Freund was third.

Peter Prevc’s younger brother Domen Prevc finished 18th today, while Anže Lanišek was 23rd.

No other Slovenian jumpers qualified for the finals.
