Yesterday, Ambassador Dr. Cerar hosted in his residence a wine tasting event for the Connoisseur’s team of expert travel consultants. Slovenian wines were presented by sommelier Ms. Andreja Košir Gažovič and Ms. Polona Brumec (Sanctum Wines), Slovenian beer by Marta Rojnik of the Rojnik Hops Brewery and best Slovenian features by Luxury Slovenia travel agency.

Prime Minister Marjan Šarec has announced he has ordered the closure of the border with Italy. The measure, which Šarec said was modeled on Austria's, does not apply for cargo transport. In a statement, he said that the number of corona-virus cases had risen by another three to reach 34 this afternoon.
