Draga Gelt – From Dreams To Reality

Draga Gelt OAM, active within Melbourne’s Slovenian community was heavily involved in the movement for Slovenian Independence in Australia in the early 1990s. In 2011, she wrote a book, ‘From Dreams To Reality‘ which is a chronicle of the activities of Australian Slovenians during the movement for Slovenian independence in the early 1990s. Draga is a very proud and patriotic Slovenian who hopes that the Slovenians in Australia will be united in celebrating this year’s 25th anniversary of Slovenian independence!
